We implement early literacy initiatives specifically aimed at closing the Million Word Gap. Our early literacy programs aim to engage families in a routine of book sharing to foster healthy brain development, a love of reading, and foundational language and literacy skills. We offer the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in partnership with Begin with Books.
Motheread/Fatheread Program
Our Motheread/Fatheread is a FREE program that caters to parents and caregivers with children aged birth to 5 years old. This program empowers parents with the tools and confidence to become their children’s first and most important teachers. Through engaging activities, book sharing, and interactive discussions, families learn valuable reading strategies that foster a love of learning in the home.
